1. Regional Capacity Building of Civil Society Organizations in Serbia, Kosovo and FYROM (May 2005 - July 2006)
Project titled Regional capacity building of civil society organizations in Serbia, Kosovo and FYROM is co-financed by the European Union - European Commission - CARDS - Civil Society Development Programme and it will be implemented in Serbia, Kosovo and FYROM. Duration of project is 15 months.
The aim of the project is to raise the capacity and competence of the civil actors and social groups active in the region gathered together in the forms of formal and informal networks for the purpose of better and more effective promotion of democratic process and enhancement of the civil society at local levels.
The target groups of the project are CSOs, NGOs and networks, local self-governances, media and general public.
The main activities of the project are: establishment of 3 regional coordination resource centers, identification of CSOs formal and informal networks in 3 regions, creation of data base on CSOs formal and informal networks in 3 regions, 21 TV broadcasts, 21 press conferences, 21 awareness building meetings, 18 two-day trainings/workshops, 1 regional four day training of trainers, 15 follow up trainings, 7 publications of newsletter, 1 two day regional CSOs formal and informal networks conference, creation of web page with focus on the project implementation and the results where data base on regional CSOs formal and informal networks will be available with all the other info in relevance to theses groups.
The overall objective of the project is the regional capacity building of existing and new formal and informal networks of CSOs in Serbia, Kosovo and FYROM.
Project aims in the capacity building of the CSOs networks as an important part of the broader civil society in the region through trainings and transfer of know how, expertise and techniques concerning management skills, fundraising activities, advocacy, lobbying, strategic and marketing planning, networking and inter-sectoral cooperation and public relations based on the EU modern policies, standards and normative.
Project is implemented by European Perspective and its implementing Regional Partners: NGO Educational Center - Leskovac / Serbia , NGO Council for the Defence of Human Rights and Freedoms - Pristina / Kosovo, Institute for Sociological, Political and Juridical Research - Skopje / FYROM and NGO Skopje United Nations Association - Skopje / FYROM.
2. 2004-2005: Project titled "Supporting National strategy for the closure of collective centres in Serbia" , co-financed by the European Agency for Reconstruction and the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs Department of International Development and cooperation Hellenic Aid . The objective of the project is to support the National Strategy of the Serbian Government to close the collective centres in Serbia and to provide durable solutions to the refugee population, which will have to leave the collective centres. Activities include: construction of houses / apartments and provision of housing assistance material for ensuring permanent housing solutions, provision of income generation assistance for ensuring sustainable livelihoods. Targeted areas include the Municipalities of Vranje, Vlasotince, Leskovac and Aleksinac.
3. 2002-2005: Return project titled: "A multi-sectoral assistance to return families in Bellopoje/Belo Polje Peja/Pec Phase I and II" SENDING COMPONENT , co-financed by the European Agency for Reconstruction. Sending Component includes all necessary actions in Serbia for IDP Return Projects to Kosovo. Activities include: social assessment in cooperation with local IDP associations, monitoring and verification of social assessment, individual visits to potential beneficiaries, organisation of go & see visits in cooperation with DRC, initial selection of beneficiaries, collection of legal documents, organisation of transport of head of families, overall support to the multi-sectoral return project in Kosovo.

4 . 2002-2004: Democracy and Human Rights Programme titled: "Promotion of pluralism by strengthening NGOs and the civil society in Serbia " , co-financed by the European Commission - European Initiative for Democracy and Human Rights and the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs Department of International Development and Cooperation Hellenic Aid. The aim of the project was to raise the capacity and the competence of the civic actors and social groups active in local, regional and national level in Serbia and to assist them in order to have a constructive and effective role during the phase of transition that the whole country is going through. The target groups of the projects are the main actors of the civil society, including NGOs, local authorities and government, local and national media and the general public.
5. 2001-2002: Micro-credit project titled "Pilot implementation for the viable development of the less privileged social groups in Serbia - Micro-credits programme" , co-financed by the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs Department of International Development and Cooperation - Hellenic Aid. European Perspective, its executive partner MicroFinS, non-governmental organisation which implements projects with a main goal of economic strengthening of the population, Forum NGO - Kraljevo and NGO Libergraf Uzice were implementing this project in Serbia (Regions of Kragujevac, Kraljevo and Uzice) with the aim to strengthen the local societies through the economic development of the region. The objective of the programme is to support initiatives that help population to revive their business ideas through realization of this micro-credit project (small credits amount), to get income and to think about possibility of business expanding, as well as involving other people into the business. 93 direct beneficiaries and their families have already had benefits from this project.

6. 2000-2001: Humanitarian Aid and Establishment of Local Networks in Central and Southern Serbia . The project which was financed by the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs Department of International Development and Cooperation Hellenic Aid, provided humanitarian aid to less privileged social groups and established the Hellenic Humanitarian and Development Network.

7. 1999-2000: Humanitarian aid in Serbia . European Perspective has become an ECHO partner to distribute supplementary food items and hygienic items in 19 state social institutions in the regions of Kragujevac and Pozarevac. Almost 7000 people benefit from this activity.
8. 1999-2000: Humanitarian aid to Serbia . European Perspective has become an ECHO partner to provide food aid to 6000 families in the city and the region of Kragujevac. The project has been successfully realised. Through this project European Perspective has become an integrated humanitarian actor in the region establishing strong cooperation and working relations with local humanitarian NGOs, the local authorities and the Red Cross
